Rowe Keegan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Scothine Mullan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute Scothine Mullan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rowe Keegan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Scothine Mullan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfred McWill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Rowe Keegan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Farrell Beckett fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pottore's protests and gave Farrell Beckett a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, Pottore was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Farrell Beckett to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Brenden McDecland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Scothine Mullan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rowe Keegan having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Pottore's goal looked a bit too open when Scothine Mullan came free, but Rowe Keegan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfred McWill struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Rowe Keegan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Knockgaffon. In the 33rd minute, Scothine Mullan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute, Torrey Keegan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rowe Keegan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred McWill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rowe Keegan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Scothine Mullan, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfred McWill stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bairrionn Holt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brendanus Dimson in the 53rd minute of the match. After having played for 63 minutes, Harry Hamilton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pottore's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harry Hamilton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Knockgaffon's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Hamilton came free, but Bairrionn Holt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brendanus Dimson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bairrionn Holt having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfred McWill in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rowe Keegan saved Pottore from getting behind. Pottore's Rowe Keegan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Pottore from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Knockgaffon left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pottore.
