Tevis McCready received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Begg McPhilip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Boethis Keegan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 25th minute, Ailín McJohnny got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Begg McPhilip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boethis Keegan in the 34th minute of play. Tevis McCready received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. When Tevis McCready came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Glengesh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tevis McCready couldn't finish the play. Begg McPhilip didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boethis Keegan went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Begg McPhilip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boethis Keegan in the 44th minute of play. Tevis McCready sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tevis McCready fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Begg McPhilip having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Boethis Keegan made a kick off. Tevis McCready sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Glengesh's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alex Tracy in the 55th minute. When the final whistle sounded Glengesh left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Richardstown Utd.
