Bracken Brennan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendanus Dimson, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Shannagh Utd's Baoithin Prunty sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rowe Keegan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Brendanus Dimson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Harry Hamilton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bracken Brennan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Brant Silke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rowe Keegan having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baoithin Prunty in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rowe Keegan saved Pottore from getting behind. Rowe Keegan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baoithin Prunty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rowe Keegan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baoithin Prunty went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 39th minute, Berk Dunne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute of the match Terence Beckett shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bracken Brennan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pottore's Brendanus Dimson got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Shannagh Utd's Bracken Brennan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Hamilton in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baoithin Prunty made a kick off. When Harry Hamilton came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Pottore fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harry Hamilton couldn't finish the play. Baoithin Prunty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Rowe Keegan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shannagh Utd's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Darby John in the 71st minute. The corner ended in Harry Hunt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pottore's Rowe Keegan did a great save. Brant Silke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Rowe Keegan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Torrey Keegan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Baoithin Prunty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Baoithin Prunty managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shannagh Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Baoithin Prunty was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rowe Keegan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Torrey Keegan's late challenge caught a Shannagh Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torrey Keegan helped the player get up and apologised. Harry Hamilton might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bracken Brennan . Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harry Hamilton ran back to his position shaking his head. Torrey Keegan hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Brant Silke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brendanus Dimson might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bracken Brennan . Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brendanus Dimson ran back to his position shaking his head. Flannery McPhil hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
