Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bow Deans took the kick off in the first half of the match. Torna Hamilton made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 9thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Dinny Martyn would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brenan McSteven in the 17th minute of play forced Pallasgreen AFC's goalkeeper Dinny Martyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinny Martyn came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Kilsallagh's Ennis Beckett. But to his dismay, Ennis Beckett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to Pallasgreen AFC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Rorey Gough hit a great ball. The supporters of Kilsallagh booed when Pallasgreen AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geoffrey McBrand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pallasgreen AFC's Dinny Martyn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torna Hamilton in the 40th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Dinny Martyn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torna Hamilton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Pallasgreen AFC's Rorey Gough got a free kick in the 66th minute. Trevor Harkin's late challenge caught a Kilsallagh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brin Palmer made in the 93rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Beineon Colwell immediately put the ball in play. 96 minutes into the game, Brenan McSteven cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Dinny Martyn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Kilsallagh players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
