Bret McCready kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Alfred McWill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 24 minutes of play, Littletown Utd's Beiti Colwell made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bairrionn Holt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alfred McWill might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Barcvni Willson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfred McWill ran back to his position shaking his head. 32 minutes into the match, Littletown Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Scothine Mullan came free, but Barcvni Willson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfred McWill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Barcvni Willson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Rolan McBjarton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Kennedy McStephen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfred McWill stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Scothine Mullan struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Barcvni Willson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Knockgaffon. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Alfred McWill took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Barcvni Willson to make any attempt to save it. Barcvni Willson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred McWill, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Alfred McWill notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Littletown Utd's Barcvni Willson. Barcvni Willson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 69 minutes, Scothine Mullan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Knockgaffon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Scothine Mullan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Trien Costello hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Alfred McWill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Knockgaffon's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfred McWill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barcvni Willson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Scothine Mullan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Barcvni Willson made a huge save. 80 minutes into the match, Knockgaffon's Scothine Mullan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Barcvni Willson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eoin Mulvihill charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eoin Mulvihill the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 81 played minutes Knockgaffon got a freekick which was hit by Eoin Mulvihill. Eoin Mulvihill hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Littletown Utd's Barcvni Willson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred McWill in the 87th minute of play. Scothine Mullan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barcvni Willson having to interfere. Alfred McWill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfred McWill's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Barcvni Willson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. If Alfred McWill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Knockgaffon's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
