Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Shey McBrand kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Boleymount Utd's goalkeeper Breen Harkin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Babe McTom. Bevan Kirby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 13 played minutes Ballybane got a freekick which was hit by Lewis Cassin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bevan Kirby in the 29th minute of play forced Boleymount Utd's goalkeeper Breen Harkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Brin McIan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the game, Ballybane's Babe McTom nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Breen Harkin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 38th minute, Babe McTom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Babe McTom got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 42 minutes, Babe McTom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballybane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Babe McTom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 47 minutes of play, Boleymount Utd's Shey McBrand made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bearnard Holt was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Bevan Kirby might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Breen Harkin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bevan Kirby ran back to his position shaking his head. When Babe McTom came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Ballybane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Babe McTom couldn't finish the play. If Bevan Kirby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Babe McTom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Breen Harkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Babe McTom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Boleymount Utd getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Abban McCollion hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Babe McTom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Bevan Kirby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Bevan Kirby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballybane's supporters rose to their feet, but Bevan Kirby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Breen Harkin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Breen Harkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Babe McTom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Babe McTom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gearroid Lavine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Gearroid Lavine managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boleymount Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Gearroid Lavine was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bearnard Holt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
