Spectators: 6766 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bealtaine Cronin kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Gattabaun's goal looked a bit too open when Bealtaine Cronin came free, but Bard Mullan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Babe Kelly ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomás McBjarton was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Babe Kelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 played minutes Gattabaun got a freekick which was hit by Bard McDecland. Dennis McWill's late challenge caught a Aharney Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dennis McWill helped the player get up and apologised. Gattabaun's Babe Kelly got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard and well directed shot from Artuir Morrison led 37 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Aharney Utd's Tomás McBjarton became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-2. Artuir Morrison took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tomás McBjarton. Aharney Utd's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Bealtaine Cronin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donan McTom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Babe Kelly to make the kick off. Donan McTom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Tomás McBjarton made a huge save. Aharney Utd's Tomás McBjarton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babe Kelly in the 61st minute of play. If Donan McTom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After recieving a nice pass, Gattabaun's Artuir Morrison tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Aharney Utd's Tomás McBjarton got control of the ball when Donan McTom tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 85 played minutes Aharney Utd got a freekick which was hit by Tady Silke. In the 86th minute, Artuir Morrison sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Aharney Utd's Tomás McBjarton didn't even have to move. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Babe Kelly managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gattabaun's supporters rose to their feet, but Babe Kelly was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás McBjarton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aharney Utd's Tomás McBjarton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babe Kelly in the 92nd minute of play.
