Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Louie Savic took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Cashleen getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Shamus McDonald hit a great ball. Louie Savic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boynton Savic having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bradley Harkin during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Cashleen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bradley Harkin to maneuver through the defense. Boynton Savic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louie Savic in the 14th minute of play. After 16 minutes, Louie Savic made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cashleen's Boynton Savic tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bairre McNamara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tipraite Mullan's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Rodolfo Valerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Ailill Martyn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Boynton Savic was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 32 minutes into the match, Louie Savic had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Boynton Savic. Cashleen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Louie Savic was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Bairre McNamara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tipraite Mullan in the 39th minute of the match. Bairre McNamara was a little too slow when Peadair Gillmour got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 1-5. After a rather tough play, Cashleen's Beairtle Holt got a free kick in the 46th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Rodolfo Valerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Desert Roses™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Valerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tipraite Mullan to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Louie Savic in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boynton Savic prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 53 minutes, Peadair Gillmour mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cashleen and the Desert Roses™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cashleen getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Peadair Gillmour hit a great ball. Louie Savic who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Boynton Savic when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 67th minute, Peadair Gillmour hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Cashleen getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Peadair Gillmour hit a great ball. A hard shot 75 in the game by Louie Savic from a close distance when the talented Boynton Savic managed to make a qualified save. Cashleen's players were relieved. Boynton Savic made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Louie Savic sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Louie Savic got free with Boynton Savic in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cashleen's Boynton Savic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ailill Martyn in the 89th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Louie Savic in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boynton Savic saved Cashleen from getting behind.
