Pearson McAlphie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Blaire Walker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Cashleen's goal looked a bit too open when Brennan McAlphie came free, but Boynton Savic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Cashleen booed when Annaghbrack FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tirloch Perth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Tipraite Mullan made the kick off in the second half. Blaire Walker made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Pearson McAlphie sent off a good shot on target. Baodan Caffey might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Blaire Walker. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Blaire Walker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tipraite Mullan in the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Annaghbrack FC's goalkeeper Blaire Walker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peadair Gillmour. Peadair Gillmour's late challenge caught a Annaghbrack FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peadair Gillmour helped the player get up and apologised. Peadair Gillmour kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Baodan Caffey struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Blaire Walker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cashleen. The supporters of Annaghbrack FC booed when Cashleen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peadair Gillmour didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cashleen eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
