Spectators: 7673 (Terracing: 5823, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 65) After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Rodolfo Valerio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Desert Roses™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Valerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herygh Hunt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Herygh Hunt managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Desert Roses™'s Louie Savic fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 8th minute of the match, Louie Savic tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Herygh Hunt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Effickmore Utd getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Brenden Colwell hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Aodh Callaghan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Herygh Hunt. That made the score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. Louie Savic could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Herygh Hunt made a huge save. Louie Savic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the game, Brannen Quinnless was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Desert Roses™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Effickmore Utd the free kick. Brannen Quinnless kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Effickmore Utd's Baiscend McBrandon got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Rodolfo Valerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Louie Savic made the kick off in the second half. Louie Savic hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Louie Savic blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Herygh Hunt having to make a save. When Aodh Callaghan came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Desert Roses™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aodh Callaghan couldn't finish the play. Louie Savic struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Herygh Hunt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Desert Roses™. Rodolfo Valerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Effickmore Utd's goalkeeper Herygh Hunt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rodolfo Valerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Herygh Hunt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Effickmore Utd's Bradaigh Tierney got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The referee gave Effickmore Utd a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Baiscend McBrandon, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Desert Roses™'s Bairre McNamara. 3-1. After 70 minutes, Louie Savic mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Desert Roses™ and the Effickmore Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 70 played minutes Desert Roses™ got a freekick which was hit by Louie Savic. Bourns Morrison could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Bairre McNamara made a huge save. If Rodolfo Valerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute Rodolfo Valerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herygh Hunt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Rodolfo Valerio made a precise shot to the right of Herygh Hunt. Effickmore Utd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Aodh Callaghan might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herygh Hunt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aodh Callaghan ran back to his position shaking his head. Ailill Martyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herygh Hunt having to interfere. Aodh Callaghan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Herygh Hunt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herygh Hunt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislav Janečka in the 85th minute of the match. Aodh Callaghan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Herygh Hunt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aodh Callaghan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Herygh Hunt having to make a save. Desert Roses™'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
