Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bealtaine Cronin started the match with the kick off. Ballybane's Bearnard Holt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bealtaine Cronin in the 6th minute of play. After 9 played minutes Ballybane got a freekick which was hit by Brakawn McGlenn. Bealtaine Cronin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bearnard Holt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Barra McGlynn kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Bearnard Holt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bealtaine Cronin in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Babe McTom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Aharney Utd getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Tady Silke hit a great ball. Babe McTom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás McBjarton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After 22 played minutes, Aharney Utd's Corey Caffey shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bearnard Holt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aharney Utd reached it. In the 23rd minute, Ballybane's Barra McGlynn dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Babe McTom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Tomás McBjarton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, one of Aharney Utd:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 33 minutes, Ballybane's Lewis Cassin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tomás McBjarton. Bevan Kirby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Tomás McBjarton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Aharney Utd getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Braedon McIan hit a great ball. Bealtaine Cronin kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Bevan Kirby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás McBjarton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brenda Gallagher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Bearnard Holt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bevan Kirby to make the kick off. Bevan Kirby struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Tomás McBjarton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballybane. If Babe McTom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás McBjarton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bevan Kirby, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Bevan Kirby struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Tomás McBjarton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballybane. In the 68th minute, Hickey Hutton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bevan Kirby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bren Gollogley hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After 82 played minutes Aharney Utd got a freekick which was hit by Braedon McIan. Bearnard Holt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bealtaine Cronin, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 97 minutes into the game, Ballybane's Babe McTom nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás McBjarton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ballybane fully deserved thier win.
