The supporters of Cashleen booed when Boleymount Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brin McIan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5thth minute of the game Tipraite Mullan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boleymount Utd's Breen Harkin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 6 minutes of play, Cashleen's Peadair Gillmour made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Breen Harkin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Cashleen's Shamus McDonald got a free kick in the 9th minute. Breen Harkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tipraite Mullan in the 14th minute of play. Tipraite Mullan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breen Harkin having to interfere. Cashleen's Shamus McDonald got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the game, Tipraite Mullan lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Breen Harkin. After a rather tough play, Cashleen's Shamus McDonald got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute Daithi Matthews shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boynton Savic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Boleymount Utd's Shey McBrand in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee ignored Boleymount Utd's protests and gave Abban McCollion a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes Boleymount Utd got a freekick which was hit by Abban McCollion. Breen Harkin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tipraite Mullan in the 43rd minute of play. Abban McCollion kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Shey McBrand to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Gearroid Lavine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cashleen's Tipraite Mullan in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Cashleen's Beairtle Holt got a free kick in the 66th minute. Cashleen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Shey McBrand scored to the left of an out of position Boynton Savic, making the score, 4-1. When Cashleen's Tipraite Mullan in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boleymount Utd's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Boleymount Utd's zone, Pearson McAlphie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Breen Harkin came out of the goal and Pearson McAlphie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Cashleen players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
