Gilbert McBjarton hit a great ball. Shey McBrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baolach Frankson charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baolach Frankson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th match minute, Donaghmore was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baolach Frankson to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Baolach Frankson made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Boleymount Utd's zone, Breslin McPhilip stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Breen Harkin came out of the goal and Breslin McPhilip tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Donaghmore's Gilbert McBjarton got his second yellow card of the match in the 59th minute. The referee ordered Gilbert McBjarton off the ground. Breslin McPhilips short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Breen Harkin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Raonall McBjarton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Breen Harkin made a huge save. In the 66th match minute, Boleymount Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abban McCollion to maneuver through the defense. When Breslin McPhilip came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Donaghmore fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Breslin McPhilip couldn't finish the play. Raonall McBjarton kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Hayes McLiam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gearroid Lavine, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Breslin McPhilip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breen Harkin having to interfere. Donaghmore's Blathmac McSteve got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Donaghmore's zone, Gearroid Lavine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hayes McLiam came out of the goal and Gearroid Lavine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 86th minute of the match Baolach Frankson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Baolach Frankson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Donaghmore's Baolach Frankson got a free kick in the 86th minute. If Shey McBrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keefe Hunt in the 90th minute of play forced Boleymount Utd's goalkeeper Breen Harkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 minutes, Abban McCollion mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boleymount Utd and the Donaghmore players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abban McCollion kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Boleymount Utd's zone, Keefe Hunt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Breen Harkin came out of the goal and Keefe Hunt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Boleymount Utd support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
