Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bevan Kirby kicked off to start the match. Annaghbrack FC's Blaire Walker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babe McTom in the 5th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Annaghbrack FC's Bearchan Hunt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bearnard Holt. Bearnard Holt yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bearchan Hunt in the 16th minute of play forced Ballybane's goalkeeper Bearnard Holt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Annaghbrack FC's goal looked a bit too open when Babe McTom came free, but Blaire Walker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bevan Kirby scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blaire Walker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Babe McTom in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blaire Walker prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Barra McGlynn fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballybane's protests and gave Barra McGlynn a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes Ballybane got a freekick which was hit by Barra McGlynn. Brion Taylor hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Bearnard Holt was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Bearchan Hunt capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bearchan Hunt really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Bearnard Holt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bearchan Hunt's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Ballybane's goalkeeper Bearnard Holt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bearchan Hunt. 48 minutes into the match, Brakawn McGlenn notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Annaghbrack FC's Blaire Walker. Blaire Walker was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bearchan Hunt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th match minute, Annaghbrack FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tirloch Perth to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Bevan Kirby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 minutes, Bearchan Hunt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Annaghbrack FC and the Ballybane players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brion Taylor kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Babe McTom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Blaire Walker made a huge save. Barra McGlynn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Blaire Walker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rorke Willson hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After having played for 77 minutes, Berry McPhil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Annaghbrack FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berry McPhil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ballybane's Bearnard Holt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berry McPhil in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Annaghbrack FC's Tirloch Perth got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute of the match Jonathan Molloy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Blaire Walker showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bearchan Hunt in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bearnard Holt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Bearchan Hunt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Annaghbrack FC booed when Ballybane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bren Gollogley didn't get a good kick on the ball.
