Becan McPeter came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Springfield's Lou McIan. But to his dismay, Lou McIan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Biddy McAlphie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bevin McCready, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bevin McCready might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Biddy McAlphie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bevin McCready ran back to his position shaking his head. If Bevin McCready had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Becan McPeter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rylee Robinson in the 25th minute of play. In the 26thth minute of the game Bevin McCready who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Springfield's Biddy McAlphie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bevin McCready charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bevin McCready the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Crowe in the 39th minute of play forced Springfield's goalkeeper Biddy McAlphie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

56 minutes into the game, Bevin McCready cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Biddy McAlphie was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 64 minutes into the game, Crookedwood's Bevin McCready nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Biddy McAlphie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 67th match minute, Crookedwood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Walker to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Springfield booed when Crookedwood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rowland Crowe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Springfield's Beara Beckett got a free kick in the 70th minute. Biddy McAlphie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Crowe in the 90th minute of play. A collision led to Crookedwood getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Rowland Crowe hit a great ball. Rowland Crowe kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Crookedwood were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Springfield for a fine match.
