Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Isaac Callaghan made the kick off which started today's match. Glasson's Justin Frankson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Glasson from getting a goal against them. 9 minutes into the match, Isaac Callaghan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beamard Hamilton. Dublin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaac Callaghan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Dublin's goal looked a bit too open when Cianán McJohn came free, but Beamard Hamilton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Isaac Callaghan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Glasson fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Beamard Hamilton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Callaghan, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Isaac Callaghan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute, Rourke Myler made a precise shot to the right of Justin Frankson. Glasson's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The supporters of Dublin booed when Glasson was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cianán McJohn didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Doney McSteve got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tathan McLiam hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Hugh Delaney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justin Frankson having to interfere. With a little luck, Glasson's Justin Frankson got control of the ball when Rourke Myler tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Glasson were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Justin Frankson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keely Sheridan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Doney McSteve managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dublin's supporters rose to their feet, but Doney McSteve was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justin Frankson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Beamard Hamilton acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 63rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Blaire McPeter. Rourke Myler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Justin Frankson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doney McSteve's late challenge caught a Glasson's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doney McSteve helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Dublin getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Doney McSteve hit a great ball. When Bean Gough fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dublin's protests and gave Bean Gough a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Rourke Myler managed to get in a good position for a shot. When Bean Gough was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. Beatty Lester charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beatty Lester the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 played minutes Dublin got a freekick which was hit by Beatty Lester. Conor McPhil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Beamard Hamilton made a huge save. The referee felt a red card was in order, 94 minutes into the game, when Tathan McLiam put in a rough tackle. Blaire McPeter walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. With a little luck, Dublin's Beamard Hamilton got control of the ball when Conor McPhil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Glasson played a much better game than Dublin and deserved their victory. The Dublin players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
