The wind increased when Rourke Myler made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Springfield getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Beccan McJohnny hit a great ball. Doney McSteve could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Biddy McAlphie made a huge save. In the 59th match minute, Dublin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beatty Lester to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Rolan McLiam notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Dublin's Beamard Hamilton. Beamard Hamilton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Biddy McAlphie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keely Sheridan in the 66th minute of play. When Rolan McLiam came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Springfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolan McLiam couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Dublin's Hugh Delaney got a free kick in the 69th minute. Beamard Hamilton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolan McLiam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute Blamhac Quinnless suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 76 minutes into the game, Doney McSteve was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dublin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Springfield the free kick. In the 77th minute, Doney McSteve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beamard Hamilton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolan McLiam, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Beamard Hamilton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolan McLiam in the 85th minute of the match. In the 96th minute Rourke Myler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biddy McAlphie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Springfield had played much better football throughout.
