Ballinvronig FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caherpeak AFC the free kick. The supporters of Caherpeak AFC booed when Ballinvronig FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbeirt Lester didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, Adamnan Dimson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Braddon Kelly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baolach McBjarton, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 13th match minute, Caherpeak AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Colmcille Dimson to maneuver through the defense. The referee showed Herygh Frankson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ballinvronig FC's Baolach McBjarton got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teris Hutton's late challenge caught a Ballinvronig FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teris Hutton helped the player get up and apologised. Teris Hutton hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. During the 93rd minute of the match Teris Hutton completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Teris Hutton a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The Caherpeak AFC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
