Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Herygh Frankson kicked off to start the match. Lewis Ramsey took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bevan Robinson. Bellanaboy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 7thth minute of the game Herygh Frankson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bellanaboy's Bevan Robinson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Roland McDonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baolach McBjarton got free with Bevan Robinson in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Herygh Frankson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Bevan Robinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bellanaboy's Bevan Robinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herygh Frankson in the 15th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roland McDonald in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brakawn McSteven prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ballinvronig FC's Brakawn McSteven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland McDonald in the 18th minute of play. Baolach McBjarton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bevan Robinson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Bellanaboy's goalkeeper Bevan Robinson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baine Johnson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brakawn McSteven having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Braoin Colwell during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ballinvronig FC booed when Bellanaboy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braoin Colwell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herygh Frankson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ballinvronig FC booed when Bellanaboy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benen McWillie didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Roland McDonald came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Bellanaboy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roland McDonald couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Baine Johnson made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Ballinvronig FC's zone, Baine Johnson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brakawn McSteven came out of the goal and Baine Johnson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bevan Robinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baolach McBjarton in the 63rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Ballinvronig FC's Brakawn McSteven got control of the ball when Roland McDonald tried to sneak it across the goal line. Herygh Frankson succeeded in the game's 69th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. After 74 played minutes Bellanaboy got a freekick which was hit by Flannery McFrank. After some careless play in the Bellanaboy defense, Baolach McBjarton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bevan Robinson. The Bellanaboy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bevan Robinson should have stopped the shot. Bellanaboy's Baine Johnson got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Herygh Frankson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Ballinvronig FC's goalkeeper Brakawn McSteven had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roland McDonald. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herygh Frankson in the 95th minute of play forced Bellanaboy's goalkeeper Bevan Robinson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ballinvronig FC's Herygh Frankson got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bevan Robinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baolach McBjarton, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Ballinvronig FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
