Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 6 minutes into the game, Dooyork's Paudraig Mullan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beamard Hamilton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 9 played minutes Dublin got a freekick which was hit by Bean Gough. In the 12th minute Paudraig Mullan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beamard Hamilton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dublin's Beamard Hamilton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry Glen Crowe in the 17th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Dublin's Tathan McLiam seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tathan McLiam the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Dublin protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tathan McLiam had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 44th match minute, Dublin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Austin Cassin to maneuver through the defense. Paudraig Mullan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Beamard Hamilton having to make a save. Beamard Hamilton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paudraig Mullan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Dooyork were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Paudraig Mullan took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beamard Hamilton. Beamard Hamilton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Beamard Hamilton made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Paudraig Mullan sent off a good shot on target. After 63 played minutes Dooyork got a freekick which was hit by Breandan Cooney. If Keely Sheridan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dublin's Beamard Hamilton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Dublin from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute Keely Sheridan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tormaigh Matthews saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barram McFrank's late challenge caught a Dooyork's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Barram McFrank helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dublin fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Dooyork. Beatty Crowe stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Beamard Hamilton. 0-3. 94 minutes into the match, Dublin's goalkeeper Beamard Hamilton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boethis McFrank. When the match was over Dooyork could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dublin throughout the match.
