A collision led to Ballinvronig FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Bearach McMichel hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Baolach McBjarton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Glasson's zone, Herygh Frankson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justin Frankson came out of the goal and Herygh Frankson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isaac Callaghan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Brakawn McSteven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Herygh Frankson was the one to do the kick off. A hard shot 60 in the game by Baolach McBjarton from a close distance when the talented Justin Frankson managed to make a qualified save. Glasson's players were relieved. In the 67th minute, Gilbeirt Lester hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th match minute, Glasson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reilley Kelly to maneuver through the defense. Baolach McBjarton received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. If Herygh Frankson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baolach McBjarton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Justin Frankson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
