After having played for 9 minutes, Paudraig Mullan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dooyork's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paudraig Mullan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Barry Glen Crowe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Dooyork's Paudraig Mullan in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clonagooden's goalie prevented a goal. 16 minutes into the game, Paudraig Mullan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Flannery Ghee was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th minute, Boethis McFrank made a precise shot to the right of Flannery Ghee . Clonagooden's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Flannery Ghee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brett Hutton in the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Clonagooden's goal looked a bit too open when Barry Glen Crowe came free, but Flannery Ghee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute of the match Philip McBrandon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flannery Ghee skillfully saved the ball. Flannery Ghee came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Dooyork's Brett Hutton. But to his dismay, Brett Hutton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Flannery Ghee didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Beatty Crowe went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Breccan Palmer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute of the match, Barry Glen Crowe got a very nice opportunity to score, but Flannery Ghee was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Phelan Todd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tormaigh Matthews having to interfere. If Bealtaine Coyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Dooyork getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Derin Dalton hit a great ball. With a little luck, Clonagooden's Flannery Ghee got control of the ball when Paudraig Mullan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Boethis McFrank received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Flannery Ghee came out and tried to block the shot, but Boethis McFrank slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 81st minute. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Paudraig Mullan put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Flannery Ghee . A collision led to Dooyork getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Paudraig Mullan hit a great ball. Dooyork's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
