Spectators: 6760 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1760, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fachtna Ferguson started the match with the kick off. When Russ McDecland came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Rossduff AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Russ McDecland couldn't finish the play. Russ McDecland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justin Frankson having to interfere. Conor McPhil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Brasil McPhil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Rossduff AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Conor McPhil came free, but Brasil McPhil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Russ McDecland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Justin Frankson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Fachtna Ferguson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rossduff AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fachtna Ferguson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justin Frankson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Breas McJohn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 29 minutes, Cianán McJohn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glasson and the Rossduff AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cianán McJohn hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Russ McDecland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34thth minute of the game Fachtna Ferguson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glasson's Justin Frankson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Glasson's Conor McPhil got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brasil McPhil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Callaghan, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 47th minute, Rossduff AFC's Fachtna Ferguson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Justin Frankson. Justin Frankson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Isaac Callaghan made the kick off in the second half. Glasson's Conor McPhil got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Glasson booed when Rossduff AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Russ McDecland didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Russ McDecland came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Rossduff AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Russ McDecland couldn't finish the play. Russ McDecland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justin Frankson having to interfere. Fachtna Ferguson got in the 66th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Justin Frankson handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Conor McPhil took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brasil McPhil. Brasil McPhil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Conor McPhil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brasil McPhil having to interfere. Rossduff AFC's Brasil McPhil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Rossduff AFC from getting a goal against them. Breas McJohn hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Conor McPhil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Brasil McPhil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Glasson's Jeremiah Branson got a free kick in the 88th minute. Bartel Harkin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Justin Frankson. Glasson's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Rollin Coyle fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rossduff AFC's protests and gave Rollin Coyle a yellow card for diving instead. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rossduff AFC! Brasil McPhil had in the 95thth minute some difficulties stopping Blaire McPeter's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Cianán McJohn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brasil McPhil having to interfere.
