Bevin McCready showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With 33 minutes on the clock, Flann McDonald commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Bevan Robinson went to the wrong direction when Benjamin Crowe was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bevin McCready got free with Bevan Robinson in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Becan McPeter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland McDonald in the 40th minute of play. Flannery McFrank's late challenge caught a Crookedwood's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flannery McFrank helped the player get up and apologised. Flannery McFrank kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Roland McDonald charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roland McDonald the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bevin McCready was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bevin McCready in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bevan Robinson saved Bellanaboy from getting behind. When Bevin McCready came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Crookedwood fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bevin McCready couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Bellanaboy booed when Crookedwood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torrans Colwell didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Reagan McOliver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
