Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fachtna Ferguson started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Lou McIan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th minute of the match Rollin Coyle sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Biddy McAlphie skillfully saved the ball. Biddy McAlphie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fachtna Ferguson, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Brasil McPhil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolan McLiam in the 14th minute. Rolan McLiam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th match minute, Rossduff AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernard McTom to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Springfield's Blamhac Quinnless tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 22 played minutes, Springfield's Beccan McJohnny shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Brasil McPhil came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Springfield reached it. Rolan McLiam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brasil McPhil having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Rossduff AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bernard McTom . Fachtna Ferguson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Biddy McAlphie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Lou McIan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brasil McPhil was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Springfield's Rylee Robinson got a free kick in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lou McIan was the one to do the kick off. If Rolan McLiam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lou McIan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolan McLiam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rolan McLiam blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brasil McPhil having to make a save. Rossduff AFC's Brasil McPhil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lou McIan in the 61st minute of play. Rolan McLiam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lou McIan in the 70th minute of play forced Rossduff AFC's goalkeeper Brasil McPhil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Springfield's goal looked a bit too open when Fachtna Ferguson came free, but Biddy McAlphie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brasil McPhil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lou McIan in the 75th minute of the match. When Rolan McLiam came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Springfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolan McLiam couldn't finish the play. Springfield's Biddy McAlphie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Springfield from getting a goal against them. When the referee ended the match the Springfield players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
