Falcarragh's Brickeen McNamee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bealtaine Coyle in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Breccan Palmer made a precise shot to the right of Brickeen McNamee. Falcarragh's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Bealtaine Coyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flannery Ghee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ravan Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 73 minutes of play Clonagooden's Phelan Todd was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground.
