Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lou McIan took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 13 played minutes Springfield got a freekick which was hit by Rolan McLiam. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Paudraig Mullan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dooyork's supporters rose to their feet, but Paudraig Mullan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Biddy McAlphie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Biddy McAlphie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boethis McFrank in the 16th minute of the match. Lou McIan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Tormaigh Matthews tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Dooyork's Tormaigh Matthews got control of the ball when Rylee Robinson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tormaigh Matthews took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brine Todd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Biddy McAlphie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brett Hutton in the 27th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Boethis McFrank cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Biddy McAlphie was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 33rd minute of the match Tevis Duggan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Biddy McAlphie skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lou McIan in the 34th minute of play forced Dooyork's goalkeeper Tormaigh Matthews to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beatty Crowe hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Paudraig Mullan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Biddy McAlphie came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Dooyork's Barry Glen Crowe. But to his dismay, Barry Glen Crowe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After the first half Dooyork were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paudraig Mullan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Dooyork was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beatty Crowe to maneuver through the defense. Rolan McLiam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tormaigh Matthews having to interfere. Tormaigh Matthews made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolan McLiam in the 70th minute of play. Barry Glen Crowe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Biddy McAlphie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Brett Hutton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dooyork's supporters rose to their feet, but Brett Hutton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Biddy McAlphie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Biddy McAlphie managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Dooyork's Paudraig Mullan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Boethis McFrank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Biddy McAlphie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Biddy McAlphie was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Paudraig Mullan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paudraig Mullan really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Tormaigh Matthews showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brine Todd in the 93rd minute of the match. Barry Glen Crowe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Biddy McAlphie having to make a save. Paudraig Mullan might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Biddy McAlphie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paudraig Mullan ran back to his position shaking his head. Dooyork's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
