Roland McDonald's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Justin Frankson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. When Conor McPhil came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Glasson fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conor McPhil couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bellanaboy's goalkeeper Bevan Robinson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Conor McPhil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Conor McPhil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glasson's supporters rose to their feet, but Conor McPhil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bevan Robinson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute, Baine Johnson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeremiah Branson charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. One of Glasson:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bellanaboy:s goal. The goalkeeper, Justin Frankson, was totally fooled by Bellanaboy's Lee Dillon, who 29 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Glasson's Justin Frankson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Glasson from getting a goal against them. If Roland McDonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Glasson's goalkeeper Justin Frankson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baine Johnson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Glasson's Isaac Callaghan got a free kick in the 68th minute. Benen McWillie hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Reilley Kelly hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Roland McDonald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Justin Frankson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baine Johnson in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Justin Frankson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bellanaboy's goalkeeper Bevan Robinson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Roland McDonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justin Frankson having to interfere. After 87 played minutes, Bellanaboy's Lee Dillon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Justin Frankson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bellanaboy reached it. Baine Johnson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Justin Frankson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland McDonald in the 90th minute of play forced Glasson's goalkeeper Justin Frankson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bellanaboy had won after a very even match.
