Spectators: 6787 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Breccan Palmer kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Crookedwood's goalkeeper Becan McPeter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bealtaine Coyle. A collision led to Crookedwood getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Caroll Holt hit a great ball. If Torrans Colwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Clonagooden booed when Crookedwood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilian Caffrey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Crookedwood's Bevin McCready got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Bevin McCready notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Clonagooden's Flannery Ghee . Flannery Ghee was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bevin McCready in the 29th minute of play forced Clonagooden's goalkeeper Flannery Ghee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Crookedwood's Bevin McCready sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flannery Ghee narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Bevin McCready ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flannery Ghee was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Flannery Ghee came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Crookedwood's Bevin McCready. But to his dismay, Bevin McCready quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Bevin McCready took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flannery Ghee . Flannery Ghee dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Crookedwood made a substitution. Reagan McOliver replaced Donavan McAaron. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bevin McCready stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Torrans Colwell kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Bevin McCready took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Flannery Ghee to make any attempt to save it. In the 82nd minute, Crookedwood's Bevin McCready ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Flannery Ghee . Flannery Ghee yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Benjamin Crowe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crookedwood's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Crowe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flannery Ghee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bevin McCready got free with Flannery Ghee in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 97th minute, Finian McJon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Crookedwood left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Clonagooden.
