With a little luck, Glinsk's Tathan McCready got control of the ball when Bevan McFrank tried to sneak it across the goal line. Britt Willson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Tevis Dimson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tevis Dimson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginald Dalton in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Roxborough's goalkeeper Tevis Dimson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Britt Willson in the 26th minute of play forced Roxborough's goalkeeper Tevis Dimson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Bec McLaughlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute of the match Philib O'Neill shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tevis Dimson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tathan McCready took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felim Dunne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 played minutes Glinsk got a freekick which was hit by Byrne Moran.

The wind increased when Felim Dunne made the kick off in the second half. Britt Willson didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-2 via right post in the game's 52nd minute. Glinsk's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 59th match minute, Roxborough was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felim Dunne to maneuver through the defense. The Roxborough fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 67 minutes into the match, Glinsk's goal looked a bit too open when Bevan McFrank came free, but Tathan McCready reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glinsk's supporters rose to their feet, but Britt Willson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tevis Dimson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bec McLaughlin charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bec McLaughlin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
