Donlan McVictor's late challenge caught a Galbertstown Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donlan McVictor helped the player get up and apologised. Donlan McVictor kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brian Ryan made a kick off. Brian Ryan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donald Hughes having to interfere. With a left leg Donald Hughes saved Galbertstown Utd from getting behind. Donald Hughes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Ryan, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Braon McBrandon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donald Hughes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play.
