The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerard McVictor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Killeany's Breadan Gillmour got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Brine Costello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerard McVictor was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robin Robinson in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bedilia Robinson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Breck McTommy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gerard McVictor. Bangor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Brine Costello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Killeany's supporters rose to their feet, but Brine Costello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerard McVictor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute of the match Shamus McPhilip shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerard McVictor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Brine Costello might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gerard McVictor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brine Costello ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute, Berke Hunt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Brine Costello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 45 minutes into the match, Bangor's goal looked a bit too open when Brine Costello came free, but Gerard McVictor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Killeany's Brine Costello sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gerard McVictor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gerard McVictor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Breadan Gillmour's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brine Costello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Breadan Gillmour blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerard McVictor having to make a save. In the 53rd minute, Brine Costello made a precise shot to the right of Gerard McVictor. Bangor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Bedilia Robinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Robinson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Killeany getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Breanainn Beckett hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the game, Bangor's Robin Robinson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bedilia Robinson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Gerard McVictor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brine Costello in the 64th minute of the match. Bangor's Gerard McVictor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brine Costello in the 73rd minute of play. Robin Robinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bedilia Robinson having to interfere. Breadan Gillmour could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Gerard McVictor made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ryley Delaney during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Ryley Delaney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Killeany's Breck McTommy tried to score from far away in the 83rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 88 minutes of play Bangor's Ryley Delaney was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. When the final whistle sounded Killeany left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bangor.
