Creevagh's Harkin McTom got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Briony Myler dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Payton Gillmour, 2-2. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Murrough's goalkeeper Brannen Delaney, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Murrough's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donleavy Gough was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rorry McLian kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
