Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute, Rourke Cooney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Bangor's zone, Gealan McTommy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerard McVictor came out of the goal and Gealan McTommy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 7 minutes into the match, Bangor's goal looked a bit too open when Gearalt McJohn came free, but Gerard McVictor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gealan McTommy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerard McVictor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gealan McTommy's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Bangor's goal looked a bit too open when Gealan McTommy came free, but Gerard McVictor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ryley Delaney fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bangor's protests and gave Ryley Delaney a yellow card for diving instead. Ryley Delaney kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gealan McTommy in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerard McVictor saved Bangor from getting behind. A collision led to Bangor getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ryley Delaney hit a great ball. Rourke Cooney kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Gealan McTommy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ahimma AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gealan McTommy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gerard McVictor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gealan McTommy in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bangor's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Shane McPhilip was slow to take the kick. During this time Ahimma AFC's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Bangor's Rourke Cooney got a free kick in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Ahimma AFC's goalkeeper Antaine Byrne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robin Robinson. 41 minutes into the match, Ahimma AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Brenainn Lester came free, but Antaine Byrne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahimma AFC's Gealan McTommy got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gealan McTommy was the one to do the kick off. Rourke Cooney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antaine Byrne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Robinson in the 64th minute of the match. If Gealan McTommy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahimma AFC's Antaine Byrne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brenainn Lester in the 77th minute of play. Antaine Byrne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryley Delaney, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 81st minute, Gearalt McJohn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 85 minutes, Ryley Delaney managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bangor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ryley Delaney was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ahimma AFC's Gealan McTommy got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Bangor getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ryley Delaney hit a great ball. Gealan McTommy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerard McVictor having to interfere. Antaine Byrne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brenainn Lester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bangor's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
