Gerard McVictor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beagan Johnson in the 3rd minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Creevagh fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! Brenainn Lester did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Payton Gillmour 13 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Harkin McTom put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gerard McVictor. When Saoirse Cassin fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Creevagh's protests and gave Saoirse Cassin a yellow card for diving instead. Saoirse Cassin kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 32nd match minute, Creevagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bressal McPhilip to maneuver through the defense. Harkin McTom struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Gerard McVictor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Creevagh. After having played for 38 minutes, Robin Robinson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bangor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robin Robinson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brenainn Lester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robin Robinson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Payton Gillmour made a huge save. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Creevagh's goalkeeper Payton Gillmour, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Beagan Johnson to strike the kick off in the second half. If Harkin McTom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beagan Johnson in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerard McVictor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Creevagh's Payton Gillmour played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brenainn Lester in the 55th minute of play. A hard shot 60 in the game by Harkin McTom from a close distance when the talented Gerard McVictor managed to make a qualified save. Bangor's players were relieved. Payton Gillmour took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brenainn Lester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Brenainn Lester sped through Creevagh's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Payton Gillmour. Pat McJon kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Brenainn Lester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 88th match minute, Bangor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bannan MaCollin to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Bangor's zone, Harkin McTom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerard McVictor came out of the goal and Harkin McTom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bangor were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Creevagh for a fine match.
