Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Murrough's zone, Shane McPhilip stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brannen Delaney came out of the goal and Shane McPhilip tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gealan McTommy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Brannen Delaney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexander Hughes hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Braddon Delaney hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Murrough's Giles O'Keefe seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Giles O'Keefe the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Murrough protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Giles O'Keefe had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Murrough! Murrough:s Brannen Delaney showed great skill when he stopped Shane McPhilip:s penalty. If Gealan McTommy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Murrough's Rorke McAlphie got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Gealan McTommy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shane McPhilip placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Murrough's Brannen Delaney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gearalt McJohn in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Ahimma AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Hughes came free, but Antaine Byrne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Shane McPhilip fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ahimma AFC's protests and gave Shane McPhilip a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Ahimma AFC got a freekick which was hit by Shane McPhilip. If Gealan McTommy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gearalt McJohn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brannen Delaney having to interfere. Gealan McTommy might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brannen Delaney. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gealan McTommy ran back to his position shaking his head. 45 minutes into the game, Brakawn Caffrey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ahimma AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Murrough the free kick. A collision led to Ahimma AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Brakawn Caffrey hit a great ball. The supporters of Ahimma AFC booed when Murrough was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donegal McNamara didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gealan McTommy made a kick off. Gealan McTommy took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brannen Delaney. Brannen Delaney dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gealan McTommy in the 55th minute of play forced Murrough's goalkeeper Brannen Delaney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gealan McTommy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shane McPhilip might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brannen Delaney. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shane McPhilip ran back to his position shaking his head. Brannen Delaney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gealan McTommy, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Gealan McTommy struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Brannen Delaney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ahimma AFC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gealan McTommy in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brannen Delaney saved Murrough from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gealan McTommy in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brannen Delaney prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brannen Delaney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gealan McTommy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahimma AFC's Antaine Byrne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donegal McNamara in the 81st minute of play. A collision led to Ahimma AFC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Tevis Gough hit a great ball. Gealan McTommy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Gealan McTommy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brannen Delaney was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. After having played for 89 minutes, Donleavy Gough managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Murrough's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donleavy Gough was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gealan McTommy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gealan McTommy in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brannen Delaney saved Murrough from getting behind. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ahimma AFC fully deserved thier win.
