In the 29thth minute of the game Donn McSteve who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Creevagh's Payton Gillmour was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Baird Bayes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Beagan Johnson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Baird Bayes in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Payton Gillmour, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Iarla Prunty kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. A wasted opportunity for Achill FC. 86 minutes into the match, Creevagh's goalkeeper Payton Gillmour had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baird Bayes. When Britt Todd fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Creevagh's protests and gave Britt Todd a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute, one of Creevagh:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Creevagh. Dermot McBrandon shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Baird Bayes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Payton Gillmour having to interfere.
