If Caoilte Deery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Caoilte Deery made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th match minute, Claggan Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duff Hutton to maneuver through the defense. Bolinglanna's Eoghan Kirby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darick McIan in the 86th minute of play. After 88 played minutes Claggan Utd got a freekick which was hit by Torrey McTom . Harold McCollion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. The Bolinglanna manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Claggan Utd to win.
