Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Boudibiua Jameson made the kick off and thus started the match. Boudibiua Jameson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bartley McTommy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 2nd minute of play. Bartley McTommy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boudibiua Jameson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th match minute, Killygar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David MaCollin to maneuver through the defense. Killygar FC's Robert McBrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basil McWill in the 8th minute of play. David MaCollin's late challenge caught a Kidlawn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David MaCollin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Killygar FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Berach Cassin hit a great ball. Robert McBrand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basil McWill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert McBrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paud Brennan in the 28th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Boudibiua Jameson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bartley McTommy. Kidlawn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boudibiua Jameson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 47th match minute, Kidlawn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tyrone Quinnless to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

A collision led to Killygar FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Corey McBjarton hit a great ball. Corey McBjarton charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Corey McBjarton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Killygar FC's Corey McBjarton got a free kick in the 59th minute. Killygar FC's Robert McBrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Dalton in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Killygar FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Berach Cassin hit a great ball. In the 66th minute of the match Andrew Dalton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robert McBrand showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bartley McTommy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berkley McJon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartley McTommy came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Killygar FC's Begg Brennan. But to his dismay, Begg Brennan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After some careless play in the Kidlawn defense, Berkley McJon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bartley McTommy. The Kidlawn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bartley McTommy should have stopped the shot. Kidlawn's Basil McWill managed to work through Killygar FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Basil McWill dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basil McWill in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robert McBrand prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
