Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Balladian FC's Begley Caffrey got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 5th minute Rory McGlynn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toren Kirby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toren Kirby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rory McGlynn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Keely Cooney during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Balladian FC's Keely Cooney got a free kick in the 10th minute. Desmond Prunty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Toren Kirby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desmond Prunty in the 13th minute of play forced Balladian FC's goalkeeper Toren Kirby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toren Kirby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rory McGlynn in the 14th minute of the match. Balladian FC's Toren Kirby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desmond Prunty in the 19th minute of play. Moyard's Rory McGlynn got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rourke Ryan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Binnech Ghee in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute Begley Caffrey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rourke Ryan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barcvni Caffey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Toren Kirby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desmond Prunty in the 29th minute of the match. Rory McGlynn took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Toren Kirby. Toren Kirby dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Harry McVictor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rourke Ryan having to interfere. Balladian FC's Toren Kirby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rory McGlynn in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Begley Caffrey was the one to do the kick off. Toren Kirby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desmond Prunty in the 54th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Balladian FC defense, Gilian Ghee kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toren Kirby. The Balladian FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toren Kirby should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beara Jameson in the 67th minute of play forced Balladian FC's goalkeeper Toren Kirby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moyard's Rourke Ryan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Begley Caffrey in the 72nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Barcvni Caffey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rourke Ryan was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. A collision led to Moyard getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Gil Ghee hit a great ball. Harry McVictor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Rourke Ryan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Toren Kirby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desmond Prunty in the 80th minute of the match. Keely Cooney was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Balladian FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Keely Cooney hit a great ball. Beara Jameson charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beara Jameson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th match minute, Moyard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beara Jameson to maneuver through the defense. Rory McGlynn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Toren Kirby made a huge save. Binnech Ghee might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rourke Ryan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Binnech Ghee ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute, Gil Ghee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Harry McVictor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Balladian FC's goal looked a bit too open when Desmond Prunty came free, but Toren Kirby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Moyard supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Moyard would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
