Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kidlawn's Basil McWill started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Kidlawn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sameer Dempsey to maneuver through the defense. Baran Lavine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basil McWill in the 6th minute of the match. When Brannon Dunne came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Greenore fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brannon Dunne couldn't finish the play. Paud Brennan kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brannon Dunne in the 12th minute of play forced Kidlawn's goalkeeper Bartley McTommy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 played minutes Kidlawn got a freekick which was hit by Andrew Dalton . Bartley McTommy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brannon Dunne in the 15th minute. If Seosamh Hutton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brannon Dunne in the 19th minute of play forced Kidlawn's goalkeeper Bartley McTommy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brannon Dunne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartley McTommy having to interfere. Darrin Gough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Baran Lavine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basil McWill in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baran Lavine saved Greenore from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Greenore's Gaynor Delaney got a free kick in the 31st minute. Andrew Dalton kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Brannon Dunne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bartley McTommy was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Paud Brennan kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Greenore's Seosamh Hutton got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brannon Dunne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Darrin Gough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kidlawn's goalkeeper Bartley McTommy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Kidlawn's goal looked a bit too open when Brannon Dunne came free, but Bartley McTommy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bartley McTommy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brannon Dunne in the 77th minute of play. Brannon Dunne blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bartley McTommy having to make a save. Seosamh Hutton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, Kidlawn's goal looked a bit too open when Brannon Dunne came free, but Bartley McTommy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Seosamh Hutton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartley McTommy having to interfere. In the 87th minute Brannon Dunne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartley McTommy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brannon Dunne in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bartley McTommy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute, Seosamh Hutton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bartley McTommy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brannon Dunne, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Kidlawn players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
