After 44 played minutes Clooncogaile got a freekick which was hit by Blanche Ghee. Binnech Ghee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Gearard McJohnny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donavon McJames made a kick off. Toren Kirby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donavon McJames, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrick Palmer's late challenge caught a Clooncogaile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrick Palmer helped the player get up and apologised. Patrick Palmer hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match.
