Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Boudibiua Jameson made the kick off which started today's match. Brian MaCollin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Robert McBrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute Brian MaCollin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert McBrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Boudibiua Jameson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert McBrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bradley Rutherford in the 18th minute of the match. Robert McBrand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian MaCollin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boudibiua Jameson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Killygar FC's Robert McBrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradley Rutherford in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cloughjordan's Damian McGlenn got a free kick in the 41st minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 90th minute Boudibiua Jameson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pearson Dillon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berkley McJon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pearson Dillon having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cloughjordan eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
