Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute, Begg Brennan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donavon McJames in the 9th minute of play forced Killygar FC's goalkeeper Robert McBrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the game, David MaCollin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Killygar FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clooncogaile the free kick. After 11 played minutes Clooncogaile got a freekick which was hit by Boynton Deans. Boudibiua Jameson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Gearard McJohnny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert McBrand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Donavon McJames went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Leonard Savic kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes Killygar FC got a freekick which was hit by Ryland Moran. Gearard McJohnny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Begg Brennan, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donavon McJames in the 36th minute of play forced Killygar FC's goalkeeper Robert McBrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brefni Frankson hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Clooncogaile's Donavon McJames got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boynton Deans in the 41st minute of play forced Killygar FC's goalkeeper Robert McBrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donavon McJames recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Killygar FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Clooncogaile were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donavon McJames made a kick off. When Begg Brennan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Killygar FC's Begg Brennan got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute of the match Breaghdha McFrank shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robert McBrand showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Killygar FC's Robert McBrand got control of the ball when Arthur McAlphie tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 69 played minutes Killygar FC got a freekick which was hit by Boyle Harkin. 70 minutes into the match, Killygar FC's goalkeeper Robert McBrand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Breaghdha McFrank. Ros McLaughlin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Robert McBrand made a huge save. Robert McBrand made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Boynton Deans sent off a good shot on target. If Berkley McJon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the game, Ros McLaughlin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
