Spectators: 6777 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Enda McCollion kicked off to start the match. Cloon's Donegal Beckett got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11thth minute of the game Donegal Beckett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spancelhill's Boylan McGlynn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th minute, Glen McWilliam ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boylan McGlynn was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 18thth minute of the game Glen McWilliam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spancelhill's Boylan McGlynn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22ndth minute of the game Donegal Beckett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spancelhill's Boylan McGlynn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute, Glen McWilliam left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cloon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Glen McWilliam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Boylan McGlynn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Glen McWilliam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Spancelhill's Boylan McGlynn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donegal Beckett in the 32nd minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Glen McWilliam cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Boylan McGlynn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rannal Costello hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Donegal Beckett scored 0-4 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boylan McGlynn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Brendon Grant kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Donegal Beckett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Basil Deans came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Spancelhill fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basil Deans couldn't finish the play. After 63 played minutes Spancelhill got a freekick which was hit by Bhrighde McSteve. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baolach Colwell during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Spancelhill's Enda McCollion got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Donegal Beckett came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Cloon fans jumped to their feet. Brendon Grant hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Cloon's Braydon Gollogley broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 83 minutes into the match, Spancelhill's goalkeeper Boylan McGlynn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Glen McWilliam. Boylan McGlynn came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Cloon's Glen McWilliam. But to his dismay, Glen McWilliam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Glen McWilliam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Boylan McGlynn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute Donegal Beckett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boylan McGlynn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glen McWilliam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
