Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Brannon Dunne took the kick off in the first half of the match. Arthur McAlphie in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Baran Lavine, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Donavon McJames took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baran Lavine. Baran Lavine dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 19 minutes into the game, Greenore's Seosamh Hutton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gearard McJohnny made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Quinton Doyle charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quinton Doyle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Quinton Doyle hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clooncogaile's goalkeeper Gearard McJohnny, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Brannon Dunne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gearard McJohnny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brannon Dunne in the 32nd minute of the match. Boynton Deans hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. A collision led to Greenore getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Quinton Doyle hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Clooncogaile defense, Brannon Dunne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gearard McJohnny. The Clooncogaile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gearard McJohnny should have stopped the shot. Baran Lavine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donavon McJames in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Ros McLaughlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baran Lavine having to interfere. Gilian Glen Crowe charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilian Glen Crowe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd minute, Gilian Glen Crowe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arthur McAlphie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Baran Lavine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baran Lavine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur McAlphie, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Arthur McAlphie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Baran Lavine was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71stth minute of the game Donavon McJames who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Greenore's Baran Lavine was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boynton Deans during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Seosamh Hutton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Arthur McAlphie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clooncogaile's supporters rose to their feet, but Arthur McAlphie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baran Lavine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Seosamh Hutton might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gearard McJohnny. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Seosamh Hutton ran back to his position shaking his head. Donavon McJames fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baran Lavine having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Greenore got a freekick which was hit by Gaynor Delaney. When Arthur McAlphie came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Clooncogaile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arthur McAlphie couldn't finish the play. The Greenore players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Clooncogaile from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
