Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Shea Perth started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Brannon Dunne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Greenore's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Derryvane Utd the free kick. Brannon Dunne hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 4thth minute of the game Brannon Dunne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Derryvane Utd's Shane Glen Crowe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Beanon Tracy kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Seosamh Hutton struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Shane Glen Crowe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Greenore. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shea Perth in the 10th minute of play forced Greenore's goalkeeper Baran Lavine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Greenore's Quinton Doyle got a free kick in the 11th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Greenore's goal looked a bit too open when Shea Perth came free, but Baran Lavine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 played minutes Greenore got a freekick which was hit by Quinton Doyle. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shea Perth in the 23rd minute of play forced Greenore's goalkeeper Baran Lavine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shea Perth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brine Hughes kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 27 played minutes Derryvane Utd got a freekick which was hit by Seosamh John. Brannon Dunne was extremely unlucky when he, in the 32nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Seosamh Hutton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Quinton Doyle's late challenge caught a Derryvane Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quinton Doyle helped the player get up and apologised. Quinton Doyle hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Donncha Colwell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Derryvane Utd's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Brannon Dunne scored to the left of an out of position Shane Glen Crowe, making the score, 1-0. Seosamh Hutton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shane Glen Crowe having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brannon Dunne made a kick off. In the 66th minute, Seosamh Hutton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Shane Glen Crowe was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Shea Perth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seosamh Hutton in the 77th minute of play forced Derryvane Utd's goalkeeper Shane Glen Crowe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shane Glen Crowe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Seosamh Hutton's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Shane Glen Crowe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brannon Dunne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shane Glen Crowe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brannon Dunne in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Seosamh Hutton made a precise shot to the right of Shane Glen Crowe. Derryvane Utd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Derryvane Utd's goalkeeper Shane Glen Crowe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Shane Glen Crowe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seosamh Hutton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Seosamh John during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Derryvane Utd! Harold Jameson placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Seosamh Hutton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shane Glen Crowe having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Greenore had played much better football throughout.
