When Bodibeua Johnson came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the St Tiknock fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bodibeua Johnson couldn't finish the play. Gearóid McVictor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torin Ryan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute of the match, Caroll Doherty got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gearóid McVictor was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Bat Deans hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Kilmalkedar's Ailín Callaghan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bodibeua Johnson in the 16th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Kilmalkedar's goal looked a bit too open when Kalev Raudsoo came free, but Ailín Callaghan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bodibeua Johnson scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ailín Callaghan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bodibeua Johnson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ailín Callaghan having to interfere. St Tiknock's Gearóid McVictor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torin Ryan in the 27th minute of play. Ailín Callaghan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bodibeua Johnson in the 29th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caroll Doherty got free with Gearóid McVictor in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute, Bodibeua Johnson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute, Breas Robinson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in St Tiknock's zone, Thomas McCready stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gearóid McVictor came out of the goal and Thomas McCready tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of St Tiknock booed when Kilmalkedar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Riley McOliver didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Bodibeua Johnson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ailín Callaghan. Kilmalkedar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bodibeua Johnson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 46th minute Donlevy McOliver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gearóid McVictor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, St Tiknock's Gearóid McVictor got control of the ball when Caroll Doherty tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Torin Ryan made a kick off. Gearóid McVictor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torin Ryan in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd match minute, Kilmalkedar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kain Hunt to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Riley McOliver's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gearóid McVictor was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. 61 minutes into the game, Kalev Raudsoo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ailín Callaghan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gearóid McVictor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caroll Doherty in the 65th minute of play. Ailín Callaghan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bodibeua Johnson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ailín Callaghan came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by St Tiknock's Kalev Raudsoo. But to his dismay, Kalev Raudsoo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 78th match minute, St Tiknock was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bat Deans to maneuver through the defense. Kalev Raudsoo might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ailín Callaghan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kalev Raudsoo ran back to his position shaking his head. If Kalev Raudsoo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bodibeua Johnson came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the St Tiknock fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bodibeua Johnson couldn't finish the play. Gearóid McVictor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torin Ryan in the 94th minute of the match. When the match was over St Tiknock could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kilmalkedar throughout the match.
