Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Torrian Grant kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rawros's zone, Cleary Hamilton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Ferguson came out of the goal and Cleary Hamilton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Coolearagh getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Bras McLiam hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, Donell McAlphie sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Coolearagh's Arthur Myler didn't even have to move. Donell McAlphie charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donell McAlphie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 10 played minutes Rawros got a freekick which was hit by Donell McAlphie. In the 12th minute, Cleary Hamilton fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Thomas Ferguson, passed just outside the right post. After 20 played minutes Coolearagh got a freekick which was hit by Tadhg Dimson. Bressail Molloy struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Arthur Myler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rawros. 25 minutes into the match, Rawros's goal looked a bit too open when Bedilia McBrandon came free, but Thomas Ferguson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Torrian Grant had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arthur Myler. Coolearagh's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Torrian Grant was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Torrian Grant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Arthur Myler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Coolearagh's Arthur Myler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torrian Grant in the 34th minute of play. After 35 minutes, Gearard McPaul mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coolearagh and the Rawros players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Rawros booed when Coolearagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gearard McPaul didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rawros's Darrin Perth was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arthur Myler in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cleary Hamilton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Ferguson having to interfere. When Rolan Prunty fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rawros's protests and gave Rolan Prunty a yellow card for diving instead. After the first half Rawros were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bedilia McBrandon to strike the kick off in the second half. Torrian Grant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Arthur Myler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Coolearagh's Arthur Myler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Coolearagh from getting a goal against them. Cashel Brennan kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes in the game, Bressail Molloy dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Bedilia McBrandon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Thomas Ferguson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Artt Ramsey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Rawros players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
