The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bartel McPeter during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gaynor Bayes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 26th minute, Conn Martyn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Crossna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Kilmacow's Fionn Dimson pulled a muscle in his back after 33 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 33 minutes, Riddoc Dalton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crossna and the Kilmacow players grew even worse after the yellow card. Braden Palmer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kilmacow's Bebhinn Moran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braden Palmer in the 43rd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Caoilte Molloy made a kick off. Todd Martyn hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Caoilte Molloy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaynor Bayes was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Kilmacow's Caoilte Molloy got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 62 minutes, Brennen Bayes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kilmacow and the Crossna players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brennen Bayes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaynor Bayes having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Caoilte Molloy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilmacow's supporters rose to their feet, but Caoilte Molloy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaynor Bayes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Crossna players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
